The Bortolin Family began the first vinifications in the ‘80s. In 1997 Gianfranco Bortolin and his wife Viviana founded their own winery called “Le Bertole®”, from the homonymous vineyard of their property that produces Cartizze, located in the territory of Saccol, a district in Valdobbiadene.
Le Bertole® quickly established itself in the Italian and international scene for the production of Valdobbiadene DOCG Sparkling Wines, as witnessed by many awards received in over 20 years of business.

Quality and Control

Making wine is an art that comes from the dedication and care that the Bortolin Family has been able to combine with the respect and enhancement of the environment, to bring the pleasure of quality wine all over the world.
The entire production process: plantation, harvest, vinification, sparkling process, wine bottling and sale are personally supervised by the Bortolin’s, in order to guarantee control and quality on the entire supply chain.
This ensures a product of the highest quality, carefully monitored at every stage, to bring the real emotions of Valdobbiadene DOCG to your tables.

In the bottle’ shape, in the colour of the glass and in the particular “V” shape relief – the first letter of the word “Valdobbiadene” – you find the characteristics of this area, conceived by the Confraternity of Valdobbiadene to promote a local culture.
Its use is reserved exclusively to the Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG and Superiore di Cartizze as a symbol of clear territorial identity.
